The St. Boniface Mary and Martha chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is part of a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of prayer, service and evangelism. Through a reaffirmation of the promises made at Baptism and Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ’s Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.
The Order of the Daughters of the King was founded in 1885 by Margaret J. Franklin at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in New York City. There was a St. Boniface chapter during the 1970s that gradually became inactive; the chapter was re-instituted in September 2002. St. Boniface also has an order of the Junior Daughters of the King. For more information about the Daughters, please contact Jan Ratzmer by emailing the church office.
