The Journey to Adulthood program begins with Rite 13, a two-year course of study for sixth and seventh graders that helps students explore their faith and their responsibilities and relationships to family, friends, the church and society. There is an emphasis on outreach with students participating in a variety of activities. During the program, students celebrate their 13th birthday with a special service that signifies their passage to adulthood. Teens can earn money for any of the Journey to Adult activities by participating in the Rent-A-Teen program
